  • What are the symptoms of Osteoporosis?
  • 1. Back pain 2. A gradual decrease in height 3. Higher chances of a bone fracture occurring
  • What organ is mostly affected by Osteoporosis? How does it affect the organ and its functions?
  • Bones are the organs most affected by Osteoporosis. The three major functions of bones are producing blood cells, shaping the body, and supporting the body. Osteoporosis has more effect on bones’ function of shaping and supporting the body because it lowers bone mass and causes bone tissue to deteriorate.
  • What systems and organs other than bones and the skeletal system are affected?
  • By damaging the skeletal system, osteoporosis puts vital organs in danger because the skeletal system is a framework that produces blood cells, creates movement, protects the organs, chews food, shapes the body, and supports the body; which means the organs would be unprotected and they would not receive the nutrients they need.
