- Quartering Act
- We do not want the British getting homes or places to live for free!!!!
- Writs of Assistance
- Open up!!!!!!! We are searching for illegal goods!!!!!
- Sugar Act
- NO MORE TAXES!!!!!!
- During this time period, the British were given places to live and given necessities to live. The colonists protested against them because they have to work for what they have and the British were just given certain materials.
- Stamp Act
- This is crazy!!!!
- I am done with these taxes!
- During this time period, colonists didn't like how people can use the Writs of Assistance to break into their house. People who worked for the government broke into peoples' houses searching for illegal goods.
- Declaratory Act
- So much MONEY!!!
- During this period of time, people were getting taxed for having materials or anything that had sugar in it. A lot of people were angry about this and started not wanting to pay taxes.
- Why are we getting taxed for this!!!!
- During this time period, everyone was taxed from trading goods. Traders and merchants were very angry fur to this because that is what they did for their job.
- During this time period, many people gained money because they collected all the money after all the taxes were counted. Many of the tax collectors got lots of money.
- During this time period, all of the colonists who brought in goods got taxed. A lot of them for upset and didn't want to pay for these taxes.
