- The general estates meeting was called with the first, second and third estates, to figure out the financial crisis by a vote by order.
- March on Versailles
- This is the third estate after being locked out of their meeting room, they went to a tennis court and pledged to create the national assembly and get rid of their status as the Third Estate. They then made the constitution in 1791.
- Reign of Terror
- On July 14, 1789 the revolution has just begun and the revolutionarys are at the Bastille, a prison/military base with stockpiles of gunpowder, weapons, and imprisoned revolutionarys.

- On October 5, 1789, a band of women came together and marched 13 miles on foot to Versailles. Once they arrived they dragged the king and his family to Paris and demanded them to stay in Paris and demanded they promise them that they would give them bread.

- September 5, 1789 the reign of terror begins, with Robespierre holding the reigns. The reason of the terrors start was with the construction with the new republic, and Robespierre did not want anyone to try and stop or slow the revolution so he executed anyone who was accused of being a traitor, which lead to the creation of the guillotine.

- Through 1789-1799 a soon to come emperor was coming to recognition, Napoleon Bonaparte. He started as a military leader who's military success was renowned much around France, so much that he crowned himself as emperor, but the people seemed to like it, And with his power he was beginning to reform France
