- The History of EuropeBy: Mrs. Kappes
- Although modern humans have lived in the European region for over 40,000 years, they didn't live like we do today. Most of them were hunters and gatherers living off the land.
- Did you see the thurdy pointer?!
- Say what?!
- You know, what- why don't you just give me the whole continent!
- I claim this land for Rome!
- Oooh...and that piece of land, too.
- As the Roman empire grew, it spread throughout the region of Western Europe. It eventually included all of France and the majority of modern day Germany. It would later spread to the island of Britain, as well.
- Please don't make me fight...I promise I'll be good!
- Whoa Nelly! Save it for the ring!
- ROAR!!!!!!
- This is not quite the trip I thought it was going to be...maybe I should have rode in the other ship.
- Christopher Columbus, an Italian explorer, sailed for Spain. His goal? To find a more direct route to India. What he did find, however, was a new world that Europeans didn't realize existed.
