  • The 3 witches meet up with Macbeth. They tell him he will become King, and end up chanting his name in praise. While Macbeth ultimately doesn't believe them because of the Thane of Cawdor and King Duncan being alive still, this is a big leading factor into Macbeth and Lady Macbeth's sinister plot.
  • Lady Macbeth welcomes the king and his servants to their dinner. Her and Macbeth previously discussed a sinister plot to make Macbeth king. Even with their plot they continue dining with the king without spoiling their plan.
  • Banquo ends up scaring Macbeth because Macbeth fears he can steal his throne, so he sends 3 murderers to kill him and his son. Banquo is killed, but his son Fleance escapes. Macbeth is informed of the issue, but he doesn´t feel good about the situation. He also has no regrets about killing his best friend.
