- The Maze Runner Characters name: Thomas "He began his new life standing up surrounded by cold darkness and stale dusty air" (Dashner 1)
- What is happening? Where am I?
- Thomas gets pulled up to the land where the other Gladers are. "Thomas hesitated, then stepped onto it with his right foot and clutched the rope as he was yanked towards the sky" (Dashner 3). Having that piece of evidence in the novel gives the readers a vision of how Thomas got out of the box and onto the land.
- I'm going!!
- Dont do it Tommy! Don't you bloody do it!
- The strongest personality trait Thomas has is stubborn."Thomas knew he had no choice. He moved. Forward. He squeezed past the connecting rods at the last second and stepped into the maze." Even though Thomas was told not to, he still went into the maze. This proves Thomas is stubborn because even though everyone told him not to, he still went into the maze
- A character trait that fits Thomas is curious. In the novel it mentions that Thomas didn't understand anything when he was first int he box. "That was the only thing he could remember about his life" That leaves the readers knowing when Thomas is going to arrive at the Glade he is going to have many questions.
- A character trait for Thomas in the middle of the novel is stubborn. When Thomas ran into the maze he was told not to but he did anyways. "Don't do it Tommy! Don't you bloody do it!" Thomas is very stubborn because since the day he got there he was don't to not go in the maze. But he did it anyways.
- A character trait that fits Thomas is cuagious. this is because Thomas risked his life to save most of the Gladers
