- Jerry Denton lives in 1964 with his family and is drafted to the Vietnam war were he will endure some of the hardest challenges he has ever been faced with. He gets through these times as a POW by remembering that he has a family back home he needs to come back to
- Climax
- As Jerry was on a normal bombing run with his fellow American bombers and fighter jets he was shot down by enemy artillery and was sent hurdling down to the face of the Earth
- Falling Action
- After being captured from his damaged airplane he was abducted by the enemy while he was in great pain at the same time. He had ruptured a ligament in his leg causing great pain for months until he gained respect of the soldiers where they took him in to a local hospital and treated his wound.
- Resolution
- After finding out that there are other American soldiers captured in the camp he gained a little but of hope. He started creating a communication system with his fellow Americans were caught and Jerry was moved to a new prison sight for more torture called the "zoo"
- Jerry one morning hears a bombing run by American troops unusually close to the POW camp were he then heard rapid gun fire by the enemy fighting off something
- Jerry and all the men in the "zoo" were saved by American troops and returned them home after 7 and a half years as a Prisoner of war
