Lemme help you see them a bit better. *spits*
This story starts off with three siblings, Malory the oldest and two twin boys, Jared and Simon. After their father had left their mom made the decision to move into a house in a desolate location, away from the city. One thing they don't know about this house is who use to own it and what lies within it's walls, nonetheless who wants it.
COME BACK
Once they had settled in a bit, Jared (a troublemaker type of kid) had done some exploring of the house. He came across a room, it was an old office of the original owner. There he found research unfinished and then a book was uncovered, with a note saying to not touch it, open it, or read it. He didn't abide by the warning. This awoken a creature named Thimbletack within the room and the goblins outside the house.
Thimbletack told Jared that the book stays in the house and not beyond the protection circle casted around the perimeter of the house. After Jared told Simon, things began to go down. Simon got captured by the goblins, they thought he was Jared but they found out he wasn't so they threated him if he didn't get them the book. Jared went to rescue him and there he found Hogsqueal who was entrapped as well, it spit into his eyes and Jared could finally see the goblins.
Once Jared and Simon finished arguing about what to do with the book, their sister Mallory became suspicious of what was happening. They tried to tell her but she didn't listen, she went beyond the protection circle and had to fight off the invisible goblins trying to attack her. Then she began to believe her brothers. All three were determined to get rid of Mulgarath, the goblins king.
Something just scratched me!! GUYS THERES SOMETHING OUT HERE
Once Mulgarath figures out how to uncast the protection circle, he breaks into the home with his goblins in attempt to seize the whole book. As he attempted to do so, the kids outsmarted him. They're mom caught on a bit too late but she was their defending the book alongside her children. Finally, the book was thrown and Mulgarath turned into a crow and Hogsquel came through and ate him.
