- My first Friday of high school and my first varsity football game, should be fun.
- Today was my first Friday of Highschool but I got bigger and better things to be excited about.
- Before we leave for the game we have pregame meal and watch more film on the other team in a classroom. The coach took this opportunity to apply pressure to us and tell us how this game could make or break are season even though its the first one
- The bus ride to the game was quiet for the most part but filled with vague background music and the occasional laugh but for the most part everyone was locked in.
- The bus ride to school was my first taste of high school fame. Once I got on the bus people couldn't help but to stare and ask questions about how a freshman made the varsity team
- As I went through my classes the questions lessened and I got a chance to think about how big the game tonight was gonna be. I wasn't even gonna play and still I felt the pressure.
- Once we got there we prepared even further in the run down smelly locker room the hosting school provided us with. Now all we can do is wait for kick off
