Storyboard Text

  • The U.S. revolution involved the British and Americans. The government was a Absentee English Monarchicaland Parliamentary Rule before the conflict. Afterwards it became a democracy
  • The characteristics of the people were there was no legal social class structure, the people were characterized mainlyby profession not class order. Educated and non-educated. Colonists had experience withself-governing. Some were independent minded
  • The Revolutionary War happened for many different reasons. For starters, the colonists didn't want the British to have as much authority as they did. They kept on raising taxes as well and the colonists got sick of it
  • A lot of things changed after the colonists won the war. They had a new country now known as the U.S. today. The British tried to recapture with the war of 1812 but now they're an important ally.
  • The slogan for the colonists was "No taxation without representation". The Loyalists didn't really have a slogan, but they would insult the colonists a lot. Some of the most notable incidents of the war were the Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, and Battle of Ticonderoga.
  • The French Revolution involved France and its colonies. It all started because they just didn't have a good economy. They would waste money on stupid things and subjects were treated poorly. This ended up upsetting many people. The government before the conflict was absolute monarchy. Afterwards the people overthrew the government and took control

  • The reasons for the revolution were due to a bad economy, poor leadership. and WW1.
  • The Russian Revolution involved the Mensheviks and Russians. The government was an autocracy and became communist after the revolution.
  • The social classes in Russia at the time in order are Czar, ruling class, and peasant. Most of the population was poor and illiterate.
  • The slogan for the revolution was "All power to the Soviets".
  • Notable events include WW1, 1000 petitioners were killed, and Russo-Japanese war.
  • After the revolution, Russia became known as The Soviet Union. The would be the case until 1991 when it reverted back to Russia. Many people still embrace those times and it was a vital part of their history.
