  • The 18th amendment will make it so you can't manufacture, sell, or transport alcohol.
  • Disposing
  • Hey I was gonna drink those!
  • We have to dispose of all this alcohol.
  • Speak-easies
  • Proposed by congress in 1917 and became a law in 1919 was the 18th amendment. This amendment was also know as prohibition. This banned anyone from creating, selling, transporting alcohol in the United States. Not everybody was happy with this decision.
  • 
  • Nobody was allowed to do anything with alcohol. People of the government or regular people who supported or had to get rid of alcohol would dump it down drains. 
  • 
  • These could be held in peoples basements, old warehouses, or just abandon places with not a lot of people around. To get into these types of places people would speak easy they would quietly say to their friends or people they know about these "party's" where there would be illegal alcohol for people to consume. These would sometimes be found my government officials and be taken down my destroying everything so they can't start up again.
