- The Boston Massacre
- No soldiers, hold the line and do not fire!
- NOOOO, brother you do not deserve this!
- The Boston Tea Party
- Gosh dang Tea Act!
- The First Continental Congress
- I am all in for coming together to fight the British.
- (whispers)... I like all of these ideas of coming together to be one.
- In 1770 a boy named Johnathan and his brother Levi went out to protest against the recently new enforced rules. The colonists were not liking how the Red Coats were taking their jobs and them having to house the soldiers. Johnathan's brother threw a rock hitting a soldier, and the soldier retaliated by shooting into the crowd. Levi had been killed instantly.
- The Battle of Lexington and Concord
- This is for killing my brother!!
- In 1773 Johnathan had just started to drink tea every morning. That was until Parliament enforced the tea act which made many colonists very angry. One night Johnathan and his friends dressed up as Indians and went to the Boston Harbor to through boxes and boxes of tea off of a cargo ship. They had succeeded and ended up wasting millions of dollars in tea.
- The Battle at Bunker Hill
- How many times are we going to have to knock you guys down before you quit?!
- And I was just starting to like tea!
- In 1774 Johnathan had started to get really interested in the Continental Congress that was being formed. He loved that the colonies were going to be coming together the fight the British. He slipped down the chimney to be able to hear what they were all talking about.
- The Declaration of Independence is ratified
- In 1775 Johnathan decided that he wanted to join a small militia and fight in honor of his fallen brother. One evening the British had set out from Boston to invade Lexington and Concord. The British had won the battle, but Johnathan was able to slip out of the fighting just in time.
- You dang Patriots are costing us so much money!
- In 1775 Johnathan had gotten a second shot at winning a battle. The Patriots had ran out of munition, forcing them to surrender. A group of patriots were able to escape and this battle left a mark on the Revolutionary war. The Patriots now realized that they needed to win the small battle and a lot of them.
- This is my chance at redemption for my brother!
- In 1776 after a sequence of small victories for the Patriots, the Colonists decided to declare their freedom from the British. Johnathan was able to get a role to be able to guard at the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
- This is the moment I have been waiting for!
- This is for all of the soldiers that died for our freedom.
