Seven English noblemen, called the Immortal Seven, write to William of Orange to get help in overthrowing James II. This is because James is catholic and abusing his divine right. After the Royal Declaration of Indulgences suspended all laws prosecuting protestants. He banned the group from meeting and told them to never question his divine right.
Hi William of Orange, Do you want to overthrow James II, he's being way too catholic for us! Just bring a small army we got the rest. (letter)
William of Orange ruled Orange which was technically a region of France in present day Netherlands. He was protestant and France was devoutly catholic. So when English Protestants ask him to take over the throne, he uses it as an opportunity to get England's army and manpower to attack catholic France.

James II catches wind of the plan before William of Orange arrives. So he decides to flee to france with his wife because france is a catholic country that will protect him.

English Bill of Rights
William of Orange and Mary sign the english bill of rights. This document gave more control to parliment. The monarchy was no longer abolsute and ruled by divine right. Parliment was guaranteed the right to regular meetings. Citizens were granted freedom of speech, no cruel or unusual punishments, and taxes can only be implemented by parliment. This was a revolution in Civil Rights.
