Calming the Storm - Mark 4:35-41

- The day was coming to an end and Jesus was preaching to a crowd of people. He told the discples that it was time to go. So, they went to a boat and set sail.
- When Jesus and his disiples set journey a storm hit them. It was very sudden, and lighting thrashed everywhere. The waves hit the boat. The boat rattled as the storm raged on.
- Jesus looked up to the sky and said, "Quiet! Be still!" The wind and the rain both stopped at once. The waves stopped almost entirely too. The once dark and windy lake became quiet and calm once more.
- They continued on with their journey after the storm.The disciples were in absolute wonder and awe. They could not beleieve what they had just witnessed. They wondered together if Jesus was truly the one who could command the wind and sea.
- The Disciples were in an absoulute panic. They realized that Jesus was actually asleep. They tried to wake him. They were scared and terrified for their lives
- They asked Jesus how He was not scared. The Disciples asked why he was not scared for their lives. They begged Him to save them. When Jesus got up He told them to not fear.
