- The spy network is growing and has been giving information on the redcoats.
- General Gage planned an expedition that would attempt to capture Adams and Hancock while confiscating weapons and ammo.
- paul revere went around telling people that the English were coming.
- The British arrived and wanted to seize the weapons which resulted in the first shot being fired.
- The British lost a number of troops lost many troops and decided to retreat but they were chased and lost a number of more troops. In short the colonists won the battle.
