- The Prohibition movement came across in the united states during the late 1800's, led by religious groups who considered drunkenness a threat to society.
- This is ridiculous, alcohol should be banned. They are sinners!
- The 18th Amendment states that Alcohol is now banned
- In 1919 the 18th Amendment was created to prohibit the use of alcohol.
- I wasn't done with that.
- No!, get off my property.
- This is illegal..
- The effect of the 18th Amendment was organized crime in the U.S. As the production and sale of alcohol went further underground.
- Is alcohol banned? Then buy from me!
- The widespread of public disillusionment led congress to ratify the 21st amendment, which repealed prohibition.
- The gangs are getting too powerful with their alcohol operation. We need to unban it now!
- Why'd we even ban it?
- This repeal generated a number of positive effects.....
- ALCOHOL IS LEGAL AGAIN DUE TO THE 21ST AMENDMENT!!!
- Such as giving adults the personal freedom to drink again and weakening organized crimes grip on power.
