- The French just moved to the upstate of South Carolina to be doing Fur trade with the Indians. Great Britain didn't like the idea of there Rival country trying to trade with Indians on there land. So Great Britain had the Cherokee to sign the treaty to where they can only trade to England.

- After the treaty the Cherokee and British lived in peace with no conflicts. This period is when Great Britain made lots of money off of fur trade. Of course,this period will not last forever.

- This grace period ended when England and France started fighting over the Ohio river valley for fur trade. The Cherokee thought that the treaty they signed, made England and them Buddies but in reality it limited there trading. The Cherokee wanted to help the British with the war instead of the French. But, after England refused to fight with them the Cherokee fought with the French.

- South Carolina's involvement with the French and Indian war was very little. The reason for this is that they were fighting there own war against the Cherokee. This happen because England betrayed the Cherokee by not teaming up with them in the French and Indian war.

- The Cherokee war was a gruesome battle between the Indians and the English. At first the Cherokee were taking the British horses. Then The British were taking hostage, the peace representatives of The Cherokee Tribe. In result, this started the Cherokee War.
- At the end of the Cherokee war the English came out victorious. This war ended right after when the English won the French and Indian war. The peace treaty was signed cutting in half all of the Cherokee's land and making them go somewhere else instead of there native land.
