The trapping season went well this year don't you think? We have a lot of hides to sell at the Rendezvous .
Yes it was a great season. Fall will be here soon though so we ought to keep pushing until the cold sets in.
I have found a mink in our trap. Not as good as a beaver but I'll take it. Anything to prepare for the rendezvous.
Fall
Oh thank you kind sir! Me and my fellow Mountain men wouldn't have found water if it weren't for your guidance.
As for my Guidance don't think anything of it. My tribes and myself have been walking this land for years it is simply another mere walk
Winter (no trapping)
With the lack of ways to stay warm and the harsh temperatures us mountain men don't trap during the winter. We would freeze to death!
The summer and fall were the peak times to trap. This is where a lot of the work for the year would take place for the mountain men. The Weather Took control of when the Mountain Men trapped so it depended on the weather how long the trapping season lasted.
Spring
The fall was spent wrapping up the trapping season. A lot of the mountain men had good relations with the natives as depicted above. The fall could have been cold and the season may have ended early or it be warmer and lasted longer.
Summer Rendezvous
Oh the Summer Rendezvous is the Greatest joy of the year!
The winters were very harsh in the trapping terriories. The trails a lot of Mountain men used to trap got snowcovered and with little protection from the cold or without modern inventions the Mountain Men were forced to stop trapping and stay home.
Note from Creater:
Notes from the creator of this storyboard: The square boxes that don't seem to come from anywhere are like authors notes or a narration of the scene. And the speech is color coded for you to see the order in which the conversation took place. Yellow is first, Purple is second, Blue is third and pink is fourth. Enjoy! :)
Because of how much the weather controlled the mountain men the Spring could have been spent much like winter or could be the start of the trapping season.
The Season has begun!
Yes! We must stay warm through these brutal nights.
The summer rendezvous was the best tie of year for not only Mountain men but for everyone who wanted to come. This event was a festival created to sell pelts but ended up a festival of music, Drinking, dancing and races. Mountain men would come to the festival to sell the pelts but also to party and anyone could come!
Indeed it is. But as for this Pelt I will give you $2 for it and perhaps buy you a drink tonight!
I have just come from France and I must say it is Amazing!
