This is Isaac. Isaac is in Kindergarten. Isaac likes Kindergarten and has lots of friends.
Isaac has a best friend named Henry.
Henry is a little different from Isaac.
Most of the children in the classroom don’t play with Henry. They don’t know Henry like Isaac does.Henry is a little different from Isaac.
Henry wears noise-canceling headphones during playtime.
Isaac doesn’t mind though. He likes the noise-canceling headphones. He says they are peaceful.

When Henry is really happy, he will flap his hands.
Isaac doesn’t mind though. He tries flapping his hands when he is really happy. He says it is fun!When Henry is really happy, he will flap his hands.
When Henry is upset, he will rock back and forth.
Isaac doesn’t mind though. He tries rocking back and forth when he feels down. He says it is comforting and soothing.
Henry has a hard time playing tag with the other kids because he needs to take breaks.
Isaac doesn’t mind though. Sometimes he and Henry get to have orange juice and a cookie when they take a break together. He says it is refreshing!
Isaac understands Henry. They are great friends.
One day Henry and Isaac were playing blocks during playtime. Suddenly Henry’s noise-canceling headphones ran out of battery.
It was much too loud for Henry. Henry was having trouble staying calm. Henry needed to lay down on the carpet and close his eyes.
Isaac joined Henry on the carpet and laid beside him as the other children continued to play. It was still too loud for Henry and he began to cry quietly.

Another student noticed Henry and Isaac lying on the carpet. She saw Henry was having a hard time. She decided to lay with Henry and Isaac too.
Soon after all of the students came to lay with Henry and Isaac on the carpet.
And the room was silent. Henry was happy to have all his peers support him.
