Storyboard Text

  • Slide: 1
  • In the small town of Graphia, lived two brothers named Liam and Noah, who were known for their competitive nature and endless curiosity. The two brothers loved solving mysteries and going on treasure hunts, always trying to outdo the other.
  • Oh man, I'm so bored today what should we do ?
  • Hmm, I have an idea, lets head to the library and see if we can find anything interesting
  • Slide: 2
  • So, the brothers headed to the library and began looking around when they each discovered a treasure map potentially leading to the great treasure that the town's founders had brought from Europe and hidden.
  • Guess what I found Liam ! A map to the legendary treasure in Graphia
  • No way, so did I, I think my maps right let see who get there first !
  • Ur On!

  • The two brothers then set off on their own journeys following their respective maps hoping to find the treasure first. Liam went through many different places such as a cove and finally just had to pass through a forest.
  • Oh man, I'm exhausted, I hope I get there soon.
  • Slide: 4
  • Meanwhile Noah after walking for a long time just had to make it through the cave he was in.
  • Man this cave is creepy.
  • Slide: 5
  • Finally the brothers reach their destination, but to their surprise they see each other there.
  • Noah!! what are you doing here ?
  • Liam!!
  • Slide: 6
  • The two brothers then break out into an argument believing the map each of them had was correct and that the other followed to take the treasure.
  • Are you lost ? This is my treasure, my map guided me here, your map is completely different, how did you even get here ?
  • No! its mine, you probably got lost and read your map wrong.
  • No! I think you realized your map was wrong and decided to follow me
  • Slide: 7
  • After arguing for a while, a man who seemed to be hiking overheard them and came over to help resolve the conflict.
  • He's trying to steal my treasure after he couldn't find his own treasure by misreading the map
  • Hey, what seems to be the problem, I can hear you guys arguing throughout the forest
  • Hmm, let me take a look at your maps
  • Slide: 8
  • After examining the map for a few minutes the man immediately realized that the two brothers had mistaken this for two different maps and began to explain to them the idea of Isomorphism.
  • Ah I see the problem now. This is a case of Isomorphism. Meaning, despite looking different the maps lead to the same place. They simply appear different due to the arrangement.
  • How does that work ?
  • This diagram I drew will explain the concept. You see each map has different paths and landmarks similar to this. However, they can be mapped to one another. For example, the path through the dense forests on Liam's map corresponds to the cave on Noah's map. Despite these differences the destination is the same.
  • Well then, I guess in the end we both found the treasure and can share it!
