- "The inheritance games" by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
- Setting: The setting of the inheritance game takes place mostly in a house called the Hawthorne house which is located in Texas. Avery the mamin character originally comes from Connecticut.
- The main characters of this book is Avery who lives by herself without parents. Then there is the four hawthrone brothers, Nash who is 22, Grayson who is 19, Jameson who is 18, and Alexander who is 17.
- My grandfather was a very wealthy man, Ms. Grambs. And it appears along with our family and people who worked for him for years, you have been named in his will.
- Listen I don't know who you are but I just want to get a scholarship and finish my high school.
- Oh boy next thing I knew I was on a plane going to Texas.
- Do you really trust that girl Avery. I don't think she is trustable, she is probably a con woman.
- This is what our grandfather wanted and I think this she was his last hurrah. So just try and trust it for now.
- This box has a bunch of pictures of me in it? Oh wait that was Harry the homeless dude I met at the park so the whole time that was Toby.
