- The European trading companies came to Indian subcontinent and asked for permission to trade in India. The Indian rulers granted permission. They tradedmainly spices, textiles and precious stones.
- The war occurred between French and the East India Company because they were not able to pay the tax to the Indian rulers.
- BATTLE OF PLASSEYIn 1757ce , a war between the British and the Nawab army took place . In this battle Siraj- ud -Daulah was defeated.
- BATTLE OF BUXARIn 1764 CE, the British fought against the Nawab of Bengal, Awadh and Mughal emperor and won the battle. Bengal came under their control.
