- Actually, ma'am. We were afraid because we did not study. Knowing that it was a surprise quiz.
- So I decided that we will have alaboratory activity today for you to befamiliar with not just its parts but how to properly use it. And about your quiz, what were your feelings about it? What do you think is the purpose of assessing you?
- We were anxious because assessment became an instrument for you to evaluate us if we deserve a passing grade or a failed mark.
- You don't have to feel the negative energy about assessment, class. The purpose ofassessing you is to see the strengths and weaknesses that you are facing in our lesson. In fact, as your teacher, it's a chance for me to introspect and examine my teaching style.So be not afraid, class. Knowing about your result had provided me enough information about the area of instruction which I need to improve on.
