- This is Lucy, she is the average adult living in California.Did you know that California has the most reports for Identity theft? Identity theft is when someone steals your personal information and uses it without permission.
- Hello! I'm Lucy
- I am running so late for school! No time to pay inside
- One day Lucy decided to get fill up her gas tank in her brand new car! She was running late for school., so she decided to pay outside.
- When Lucy got home from her crazy day at school; she decided to take a look at her credit score and then she realized that her account was hacked, with charges that were spent in her name. Lucy Detected Identity theft by checking her credit score daily and keeping track of her bank account.
- HACKED
- What? I never made any of these purchases! I have to call my bank right now so I can file a report!
- Help Danny! My account is hacked and now my credit score is so low now!
- In panic Lucy rushed down stairs to call her friend Danny. Danny works at the bank and sees identity theft happen all the time!
- After Lucy called Danny, he started to investigate the situation. You can deter yourself from identity by making sure you check your credit score daily, and checking your bank account daily.
