- hi i am Adolf hitler and I’m the one that started the war because I got angry because how many money had to pay Germany so I made team with Italy and Japan as the axis powers

- Pearl Harbor Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, a United States Naval Base was surprisingly attacked by Japanese airplanes on December 7, 1941. Many ships were destroyed and soldiers were killed. This attack forced the United States to enter World War II. The base is located between California and Japan. Atthe time of the war, Hawaii was a U.S. territory, not a state.

- Germanys expansion In 1936, Hitler sent soldiers into the Rhineland. (part of Europe next to Germany).In 1938, Hitler made Czechoslovakia and Austria part of Nazi Germany. On September 1, 1939, Hitler sent his armies into Poland. Two dayslater, France and Great Britain declared war on Germany. Soon theSoviet Union attacked Poland. World War II had begun. On May 10, 1940, Hitler attacked France. It was a fast, focused attack. Soon Nazi Germany controlled almost all of western Europe.
- The holocaustThe Holocaust happened during World War II. The Nazis killed millions of Jewish people. Poland was a target for the Nazis. They wanted to turn Poland into a new German land. The Night of the Broken Glass - On November 9, 1938 crowds burned synagogues(Jewish houses of worship), broke windows of Jew shops all over Germany. In 1939 Jews were not aloud to attend school or own businesses. Jews needed to wearbadges so they would not blend with non-jews. Nazis arrested thousands of Jews and sent them to concentration camps (large prisoncenters). Here they killed them or kept them prisoners where they worked as slaves.
