- Take you your instrument, play you the whiles. His lecture will be done ere you have tuned.

- Hortensio and Lucentio argue about who she should teach first but Bianca tells Hortensio to go off and play with his instrument. Allowing Lucentio to teach first where he confesses his love and want to marry her
- “Here, sir! Here, sir! Here, sir! Here, sir!” You loggerheaded and unpolished grooms!
- Its Katherine and Petruchio's wedding day, Baptista is now worried that the groom wouldn't show up. Katherine now tells her father he wouldn't feel as embarrassed as her as she will be the one that is left alone.
- The more my wrong, the more his spite appears. What, did he marry me to famish me?
- Petruchio arrives late but in horrible clothing, Baptista recommends he changes however he said that there is no time and wants to see his bride.

- Petruchio arrives at his country house with his new wife, he expected everything to be perfect but his servants didn't execute his plan. He then becomes furious and tells them off
- The 'Taming' process has begun for several days, which includes not allowing Katherine to eat a lot or sleep. she asks Petruchio's servant Germio if he can fetch her some food but he must deny the command
- Petruchio, Hortensio and Katherine are on their way back to Padua, despite it being mid day Petruchio compliments the sun however he calls it the moon. Katherine then talks back saying its actually the sun. Hortensio says that they won't move until she agrees that its the moon. one she does they have concluded that the taming is completed.
