The townspeople told me to examine this water with my simple microscope (one lens) because they saw something in it. Well look at that there are things in the water I will call these Wea beasties. (single celled)

Boy, being a scientist can be boring sometimes. You know what lets look at this cork.Wait a minute this looks like the places monks stayed in. I will call them cells! These new compound microscopes rock!
Fast foward
200 years to the future as a lot of things have changed like technology, a new place on the map and more magnification on microscopes
Nature scientist
Don't you just love nature I could be out here all day. You know these plants cells look like they are really similar. They all have similar size shape and color. I sure love my compound microscope!
Mooligist
Moooo
Hey, these cells seem to be the building blocks of living things. This compound microscope can see everything! These cells also seem to have different functions, like moving oxygen throughout the body.
No more Rats
These other scientists work looks reasonable and true. I've performed experiments to show they are and I found that cells can only come from other cells. This compound microscope really works no wonder everyone used it.
