- Alright, imagine your eye is like a camera! It has different parts that work together to help you see. Let me break it down for you:1. Cornea: Think of the cornea like the camera lens cover. It protects the eye and helps to focus light.2. Pupil: The pupil is like the hole in the middle of the camera lens. It gets bigger or smaller to let in more or less light.3. Iris: The iris is the colorful part of your eye around the pupil. It controls how much light enters the eye by making the pupil bigger or smaller.4. Lens: Just like a camera lens, the lens in your eye helps to focus light onto the back of your eye. It changes shape to focus on things that are close up or far away.5. Retina: This is like the film in a camera. It's a thin layer at the back of your eye that's sensitive to light. The retina turns the light into signals that your brain can understand.6. Optic Nerve: The optic nerve is like the wire that connects the camera to the computer. It carries the signals from the retina to your brain, where they're turned into images.So, when you look at something, light enters through the cornea and pupil, gets focused by the lens, and then it hits the retina, which sends signals to your brain through the optic nerve. Then, your brain turns those signals into the pictures you see! Amazing, right?
