  • Some benefits are;longer lives, improved grades, higher confidence, better sleep, less depression, lower risk of disease, and stronger bones.

  • Everyone comes in all different shapes & sizes based on bone size, muscle mass, and percentage of body fat. Body types can be categorized into 3 types.
  • Benefits of having a lower body fat percentage are; higher metabolism, prevention of certain diseases, stronger bones, reduced type 2 diabetes, and longer life
  • Body composition describes the percentages of fat, bone, muscle, and water in your body.
  • Prior to starting any physical activity, you should complete a WARM UP!
  • At the end of your physical activity, it is very important to perform a COOL DOWN!
  • Shin splints occur when there is pain in the front of your lower leg when you're walking, jogging, or climbing.
  • Blisters are pockets of fluid that mostly occur on the hands & feet.
  • Muscle sprains are caused by an overstretched or torn ligament.
  • Muscle strains are also known as “pulled muscles” or “muscle soreness”
