  • Breaking news, article “Russia-Ukraine crisis: Why Brussels fears Europe is ‘closest to war’ in decades,” written and edited by European editor Katya Adler goes viral explaining the ongoing controversy between Ukraine and Russia.
  • The article was written and published January 17th, 2022, and highlights key factual evidence of the ongoing conflict between Russian and Ukraine forces.
  • It’s unbelievable, Bob! Currently in Ukraine, Russian soldiers are gathering around the borders preparing to engage. If I were in Ukraine right now, I would be on the next flight out!
  • That it is, Melissa. This conflict is occurring as we speak, between Russia and Ukraine in early 2022.
  • As horrifying as it is, people, it’s real. Surrounding European nations are at risk, and America is as well. Since Russia is involved, our troops may have to be sent in to defend Ukraine. This is a chaotic crisis, and our administration could possibly be blamed if an all out war were to happen.
  • This is an extremely significant story! For people living in both Russia and Ukraine, their lives are at risk if this conflict is not resolved soon.
  • Melissa, what do you think might happen if this conflict goes unresolved and develops?
  • Well, Bob, for starters, I don't think this will escalate. I trust Ukranian forces to deflect the Russians and for peace to come. However, if worse comes to worse, I think US troops will be highly involved and will handle the situation.
  • One final question for you, Melissa, before we close here today. Do you think Russia will invade Ukraine and claim them as a part of Russia at all costs?
  • Despite Russia's history, I trust troops to protect their separate nations. If all goes wrong, I believe in the strength of surrounding nations to protect Ukraine and support them. Good day to all of our viewers, and we'll see you again tomorrow for another broadcast!
