- The Protagonist needs to meet with Russian Oligarch Andrei Sator and plans to use his wife Kat as an in for a meeting. Kat sold Andrei a fake Francisco Goya drawing and he holds it over her head as she wants out of their marriage.

- While Neil and Protagonist are inside the vault, they have a team hijack and crash a 747 to trigger the alarm
- After beating up the Russian thugs and proving himself, Kat tells him about the Freeport where Andrei stores the fake painting. He plans to breach the freeport with his colleague Neil by crashing a plane into it
- The Protagonist, Kat, and Neil must break into the Freeport to destroy Andrei's fake drawing

- The Protagonist faces off against a suited up character inside the vault. They discover a portal to the future and manage to get out alive but fail to destroy the fake Goya drawing.

- The Protagonist sparked Andrei's interest by mentioning the opera so Andrei invites him to discuss further on Andrei's sailboats. The Protagonist hopes to gain Andrei's trust and attain some more information in order to save the world.

- While Andrei and the Protagonist were talking, Kat went rogue and threw Andrei off the moving sailboat in an attempt to kill him for blackmailing her. The Protagonist turned the boat around and saved Andrei because he needs Andrei alive in order to complete his mission.

- Later that night, Andrei catches The Protagonist spying on his supply drop and they agree to have The Protagonist steal the plutonium for Andrei. Andrei pays him with a gold bar in advance.
