- Because the long neck giraffes have babies together their babies have more chance to have a long neck and the short neck giraffes are going to gradually disappear.
- Third step : all the long neck giraffes gather.
- Last step : they have babies together.
- There are 4 factors involved in evolution but we are only going to see two of them :- the natural selection- the speciation
- Today we can explain to you evolution of species thanks to many scientists but especially to a man named Charles Darwin who spent his life studying science of humans, animals, insects…
- For example a giraffe with a small neck isn’t going to be able to reach the leaves while the long neck one is going to be able to reach them, to feed itself and to survive.
- Second step : when they grow up some have advantages over others.

- At 22 years old, in 1831 Charles Darwin went exploring the world for 5 years. During his trip he did his greatest discovered : the natural selection.
- We are back with Wesley! And we are going to explain to you the natural selection. For that we are going to help us with our friends the giraffe. Natural selection is a phenomenon which makes the natural death of the giraffes less able to live, allowing the species of giraffe to live better and better. Natural selection is divided into 4 steps.
- First step : two giraffe parents have babies.
- Evolution is a process by wich species change. These are the mechanisms by which populations vary, species are transformed, borned and adapted.
