- The deer didn't have to die, it was just eating.

- In this scene, Brian is trying to find the source of the "gunshots". He gets to the middle of the woods where he thought the sound was coming from when, "BANG!" Something explodes. Brian figures out that the pressure inside the trees build up and then explode.
- In this scene, Brian is feeling bad about killing a buck. He thinks that the deer didn't have to die, and that it was just eating and it wasn't going to hurt him.
- In this scene, Brian is woken up by a bear sitting at the entrance of his house. He kicks the bear, making the bear throw him across the lake. The bear proceeds to ransack Brian's camp.
