- Do we have to have porridge again for dinner?
- I think some potatoes fell off the cart this morning. But you know we don't have the right to hunt the land.
- That pork was delicious tonight. Not to mention how everone loved the wine!
- Did you see all who came! We definitely throw the best banquets
- We may not have had oranges and grapes but those veggies were amazing!
- I prefer ale to wine anyhow.
- Serfs mostly at gains and a few vegtables that were in season. They rarely received any meat. They were not allowed to hunt the land and most of the food went to the upper class.
- Nobility were known by their lavish lifestyle and that included the food they ate. The more rare it was, the more clout it had. Meat was definitely a sign of wealth. Their banquets showed their status.
- Clergy didn't get as rare of fruits and meats as the nobility, but they definitely had more than the serfs.
