- The French and Indian War left Britain in great debt. With the debt in mind, the British decided to pay more attention to the colonies because they saw it as a way to earn money.
- I am the king! They can't refuse my orders! Make the townshend act and this time, make sure they pay.

- The British was in great debt becuase of the war. They decided to tax the colonists to help pay with the war. So first they decided to make the suger act.

- The colonists didn't pay there taxes which made the King angry. He made more taxes because of the colonists. Another one is the townshend act.
- Upset and angry protesters dump tea overboard to mark an event that would go down in history as the Boston Tea Party. This event happened because of the beginning of the Intolerable Acts
- The Boston Tea Party caused a great dispute between England and the Colonies. This is known to be one of the many causes of the American Revolution.
