- Luke was in a grocery store sauntering around shopping for groceries to purchase. However the shop owner, Mr Chia, scowled at Luke. Mr Chia thought that all teens, like Luke, were irresponsible, ungrateful and unkempt. Little did Mr Chia know that his impression was soon about to change.

- Here, take this can of soda! This is a treat for helping me.
- As Luke was strolling around, he scrutinised Mr Chia, who was struggling to carry a box of apples. Seeing this , he immediately put down his basket and went to help carry the boxes.

- Hello Mr Chia! How are you doing today?
- Perceiving this, Mr Chia thanked Luke and proceeded to show Luke where to put the boxes down. On the way there, he reflected on what had just occurred as his opinion on teenagers changed for the better.
- My pleasure! I should be thanking you as you have been going out of your way to help me!
- Thank you so much for having me over!
- As a reward, Mr Chia gave Luke a refreshing can of soda. Luke was extremely grateful and thanked him for his kind gesture. From then on, Luke decided to become a regular customer and help Mr Chia once in awhile if he saw him struggling
- Whenever Luke visited the grocery store, he always chatted amiably with him and helped carry a few boxes around so he had less worries on his shoulders
- As a treat for helping him, Mr Chia would have a meal with Luke during his weekends and converse with each other exuberantly. They enjoyed each other's company and were friends for a long time to come. What an unexpected friendship!
