- Beowulf is an epic poem composed between the middle 7th century and the end of the 10th century.It consists of 3,182 lines in verse, it´s author is unknown and believed to have been a medieval poet, who wrote the poem events.A monster named Grendel has been menacing the realm of the Danish king Hrothgar. Grendel has invaded Hrothgar's banquet hall and killed many of his men. in the land of the Gaets, the great warrior Beowulf hears about the Danish king's troubles. Beowulf with a group of men to help the Danes.
