- Loves his family and baseball. David is from the Dominica Republics which is a very impoverished country.
- Family was David's number one but he loved baseball and that was his favorite thing.
- MLB Draft
- David Ortiz gets drafted by the Seattle mariners. He has dreamed about this day ever since he was little.
- Gets called up to the big leagues then sent back down to the minors. He gets traded to the Boston Red sox's. He feels disrespected.
- Is now with the Boston Red Sox's and his career is taking off. The whole world is seeing how good he is. He is finally getting the respect he deserves.
- David Ortiz is the best DH to ever play. Ortiz is a 3x world series champions, 10x all-star, and has a career total of 541 homeruns.
- David Ortiz retires in 2016. Ortiz is inducted into the Baseball HALL OF FAME
