Rising Action 2
We are the leaders. We should get special rights.
No, all animals are equal
The main conflict in this story is between humans and the animals on Manor Farm. The animals are horrified by the bad behavior of the humans and are sick of being mistreated by Mr. Jones, the owner of Manor Farm. This causes the animals to rebel and overthrow the farm creating Animal Farm.
Climax
After taking over the farm, the animals have a meeting to plan out their new lives. It is determined that the pigs, Napolean and Snowball, will be the leaders and that no animal should have any human interaction. Snowball comes up with other rules the animals must follow called “the seven commandments”.
Falling Actions
Snowball and Napolean disagree about almost everything. Snowball's goal is to make all of the animals feel equal and have better lives than they did under the humans. Napolean just wants to make his own kind’s lives better. He limits things like milk and eggs for the pigs’ use only, and he makes all of the other animals work twice as hard.
Resolution
Snowball becomes the favorite, and power-hungry Napolean doesn't want to share the role of leader anymore. He starts a rumor that Snowball was conspiring against animal farm with the humans, and has Snowball taken off of the farm.
But I didn't do anything wrong!
get rid of the traitor!
Napolean and the rest of the pigs start acting worse than Mr. Jones ever did towards the other animals. Napolean breaks all of the 7 commandments. He begins to trade with neighboring farmers for money and kills animals that don't do as he says.
Napolean changes the name of the farm back to Manor Farm, and things continue to worsen for the rest of the animals. The others catch the pigs and the humans drinking alcohol and partying in the house. The pigs were so like the humans that the other animals could not tell them apart.
