I am Martin Klaproth,a German chemist
and because of that, I discovered the Uranium’s radioactive capabilities
I isolated an oxide of uranium while examining pitchblende samples from the Joachimsthal silver mines.
Hi! I am Emilio Segrè fast forward to 1937, I synthesized technetium in Italy.
I looked at molybdenum from California that had been subjected to high-energy radiation and discovered and separated technetium
3 years later, in 1940, we are the Berkeley physicists that created element 93, the very first heavier element than uranium.
Neptunium was the name we gave to it. Plutonium, element 94, was next in line. Between 1940 and 1961, we synthesized elements 95 to 103.
We, American scientists should take 104 and 106 elements!
Throughout 1966 and 1974, Soviet and American scientists argued over who got credit for elements 104 and 106.
Why do us Russians only received the 105th element?!
We are the first one to confirm the existence of element 107!
We are the scientists from the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research
We also created elements 108 to 112 during the next 15 years
WELCOME! Scientists from Livermore National Laboratory and Russia's Joint Institute for Nuclear Research
We identify elements 113 through 118!
