Perseus successfully carry out his plan of knowing the place where Medusa is. To be fully equipped for the fight, Hermes lend him a winged sandals, Hades' helmet which allows him to become invisible, and a bag where he will put the head of Medusa.
Andromeda
Perseus easily enters the place because he was invisible. He quietly wait for his chance to behead Medusa. Fortunately, the three Gorgons were sleeping.

Perseus successfully beheaded Medusa. The two other sisters were awaken by Medusa's cry and try to find Perseus but they could not because he was invisible.
Faith of Arcisius
Unsure of the way going back to Seriphos, Perseus found Andromeda, a supposed to be sacrifice for the sea monster to protect her entire village. Perseus, who loved Andromeda at first sight, saved her from the monster as he was capable to do so.
Perseus returned to Seriphos with Andromeda. He went to Polydectes to give the head of Medusa. But, upon knowing what Polydectes did to his family while he was on the quest, he killed Polydectes by turning him into stone with the use of Medusa's head.
Perseus, together with Danae and Andromeda, went back to Argos, the hometown of Danae. Through an accident, King Arcisius died in the hands of Perseus just like what the prophecy said. Later on, Perseus lead the city of Tiryns instead of Argos for he believed that he did not deserve to be the King of Argos because of his grandfather's death.
