- Commercial airs, and the father begins to experience the beginning stages of reactance

- old people couldn't play video games even if they tried!
- the father is now engaging in reactance, declaring that what the authority is telling him is not true
- their old brains couldn't even keep up with watching competitive gaming!

- Due to reactance, the father is more intrigued with Twitch than he would have been prior to being engaged by the commercial.
- What's going on over here on this screen Timmy? They said I'm too old for this, but it looks cool!
- "SHROUD HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CLUTCH THIS ROUND IF HE CAN JUST STAY ALIVE"
- its the final round of the Twitch Rivals tournament dad!
- The father is now fully enveloped in the storyline for Shroud and the crazy plays he made playing video games.
