- Hi children, my name is Gandhi and I lived a long time ago in a place called India. Above you will see our flag, and below you will see where we are located on the world map in light gray.
- I'm no longer alive, but I wanted to come back to share with you some of my own encouraging words to help you be a good student and good citizen.
- "The future depends on what you do today." This means to be thoughtful about your choices you make each day. Always choose to make good choices so you will have a good future.
- "Where there is love, there is life."This means to show love and be a caring person. Showing love to others fills up a peron's heart and gives them life.
- "It's easy to stand in the crowd, but it takes courage to stand alone." This means to be a leader. Have the courage and integrity to lead the way when others are doing wrong, and show them the right way.
- "The good man is a friend to all living things." This means if you are kind to everything living- you are a good person. That includes showing kindness to people, animals, and the earth.
- This is all the time I have for now students. Please take these words with you each day and live by them as I did. You will continue to grow and be a good student and a good citizen today and tomorrow.
