Once there was a great spirit both of man and bird. His name was Raven. With the power of his creation he carved out mountains, emerged water and grew pea pods to add his dark earth.
A dizzy, confused fully grown adult man had came out from the pea pod . His first instinct was to drink water.
Raven had spotted the man from the sky and came down in man form to observe the man. They glanced at each other immensely long. Then raven finally spoke and asked the man where he dad came from and if he had eaten.
Man replied with: ''I was born from the pea pod and no I haven't ate yet but I drank some water''. Raven was astonished by his creation of the pea pods not knowing what they possessed until now. He now knew his planet would inhabit people. Raven set out and kept the man waiting for days, he brought the man berries which he had devoured in agulp
With his powers Raven created more inhabitants, Mountain goats for the mountains and Fish for the water, and birds for the air. He didn't like how man was staring at them in a carnivorous way so he created a Bear to scare him away from them.
Raven noticed man was very lonley so then he cornered around the world to make him a woman shaped and carved out of clay, together man a raven inherited many children for the earth and long after ravens earth filled with many voices and life forms, history, society and architecture.
This story was an inuit myth of how earth, people, things, and places were created and came to be.
