- Shall the victim can take action against the rapist under the law?
- Definitely can, the victim has all the rights to take action against the rapist
- I think so madam
- So from here, I think you all clearly know about the rights of victim who suffered by the rapist or faced sexual assault has right to take action against the offender under the law of our country.
- In Penal Code Section 375 provides that rape and Section 376 provides that punishment for rape which can be used by the women victims for rape while Section 377 A provides that carnal intercourse against the order of nature, Section 377 C provides that committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature without consent,etc and Section 354 provides that punishment for using criminal force otherwise than on grave provocation which can be used by the men victims who suffered by this action which known as sexual assault under law.
- But what about men madam? What if they were raped?
- There are no specific acts for rape involving men HOWEVER,
- IF men are raped, by another men for example, they're liable under Section 377A of the Penal Code which serves the unnatural sex offence
- That is why, we need to enact another rape law which involves men and women because we need to protect both genders from rape.
- We have to understand that, RAPE HAS NO GENDERS
- The reason this campaign are exist because we want to help those vistims, that may be facing of lose of confident, depresion and else due to the trauma
