- What do you think the affect of different water temperature water does to the skittle.

- lets look at the cold water.What do you see happing to the skittle.

- I see the color of the skittle coming off. But it is taking it time.
- Lastly lets look at hot water next.
- what do you see happening to the skittle.

- I can see the color of it coming of faster than the cold water.
- What do you notice about the skittle in the hot water.

- I noticed the skittles color coming off quicker than the other temperature waters.
- why does this happen. WJy does the color come off quicker in hot water than an cooler water.
- This happens because the skittle are coated with coloring and sugar and when you put water over it. The sugar dissolve and speard into the water.

- That explains why it the color moves around faster in hot water than in cold because the heat dissolves it faster than the coldness.
