  • There is word of colonial ammunition in Concord !! We mustn't allow this!
  • They were informed about our supply hold!
  • The British are coming!! The British are coming!!
  • The red coats, otherwise known as the British, received word that there are weapons in colonial military force's custody within Concord. With this knowledge, the British decided to march to Concord with high expectations of capturing the rebels, John Hancock and Samuel Adams.
  • Colonial military forces obtained information about British intelligence on their ammunition supply which allowed them to prepare for their arrival.
  • Revolutionary leader Paul Revere, aided the Colonial military's intelligence by warning the countryside of Concord of the British arrival.
  • The British marched on Concord and Lexington with a military force of 700, arriving at Lexington and Concord on the morning of April 19th, 1775.
  • The British arrived in Concord, upon arriving they were met with a great force. the 'shot heard around the world'. The shot that began the American Revolutionary War.
