- Benvolio and Mercutio are out drinking. They're looking for Romeo since he was supposed to join them, but he ran off to see Juliet instead. Mercutio delivers a speech about love and life.
- Romeo! Humours! Passion! Lover!
- Romeo watches from below as she speaks of him. They tell each other that they love each other while Juliet asks to be married.
- But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? / It is the east, and Juliet is the sun
- The exchange of thy love's faithful vow for mine
- After the friar is asked to marry them even though he is surprised by how quick Romeo as gotten over Rosalind he is more than happy to since it could present an opportunity to calm the feud between the Capulets and Montagues.
- After the party the Sharks meet up at the roof and they start talking about America not long after they go into dance. Maria does not go with the sharks to the roof.
- I like to live in America!
- Tony decides to meet Maria at her fire escape, they kiss for the first time and express their love to each other.
- I love you Maria!

- The Sharks and Jets encounter once again at the bar, The break of into an argument and decide to have a rumble. Tony tries to convince them not to fight but ll he manages to do is have a fight without weapons.
