Storyboard Text
- I am the Chief of Ghalas - at. My name is Chief Chowing.
- My name is Captain Orlov. I have come with forty of my men. We come to hunt sea otter and wish to camp on your island.
- One string of beads for one otter pelt is not our bargain. The chest does not hold that much.
- One string and one iron spearhead. There are more chests on the ship.
- Captain Orlov meets Chief Chowing and asks to camp on his island while hunting sea otter. Captain Orlov tells Chief Chowing that he will give him one string of beads and one iron spearhead for each sea otter.
- If it goes, it will come again after the storm.
- The white men's ship will leave you.
- Captain Orlov gets into an argument with Chief Chowing becuase Captain Orlov does not give him what he was supposed to get in return for the sea otter.
- When will the ship come back?

- Captain Orlov kills Chief Chowing. The Aleut men and the men from Ghalas-at get into a fight. The women from Ghalas-at throw rocks at Captain Orlov and his men.
- A ship comes to the Island of the Blue Dolphins to bring the people of Ghalas-at somewhere else.
- Karana jumps off the boat to stay on the island with her brother who misses it.
- The wild dogs kill Ramo in the morning while Karana is still sleeping.
