- THE GERMANS ARE COMING!!
- there was a German police raid at one of our meetings. Reina came to warn us ahead of time, which gave us just the chance we needed.
- So to escape me and Reina crawled into the attic next door. There was a St. Nicholas party going on downstairs. They were real patriots. They let us put on their costumes. Then we calmly left into the street. It was the perfect disguise. We even got a ride on a German solder's lorry, and when they found out that our bag empty, they filled it with chocolate from there own ration!
